Greener Day was originally born from current covers band Bad Dobby. After gigging
a fair amount of Green Day songs in their sets and after getting constant
extremely positive feedback from audiences about these songs it was clear we had
something we shouldn’t ignore. We mulled the idea around for a bit and after a
while thought “why not” we did consider whether we could just continue as we
were but doing a Green Day set but this clearly wouldn’t emulate or be able to
create the music that everyone was used to… we needed another guitar. So we
asked our very good friend Neil whether he’d like to pick up bass while Rich picked up a guitar. Since that
moment – songs have been rolling out of the practice rooms and out through our
speakers.
